G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College is the brainchild of Late Sri G.Pulla Reddy, (popularly known as Sweets Pulla Reddy in A.P.) the renowned philanthropist and a great humanist. Established in 1984-85, it is one of the earliest private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh state. GPREC has been functioning as an autonomous institution since 2006. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, Ananthapuramu and approved by AICTE & accredited by NBA of AICTE and NAAC of UGC. The college offers Under Graduate Programmes in Nine Engineering branches and Five Post Graduate pro-grammes.5 of our departments are recognized as Research Centers of JNTUA University to conduct Ph.D. programmes and many scholars have obtained Ph.D. through these research centres.
The ICGPRECSD is expected to create meeting point in engineering education for skilled professionals to interact and discuss cutting edge research and recent developments for digital India. It encourages and assists the professionals engaged in various technological engineering fields to maintain the integrity and competence of the profession. It fosters a sense of partnership among the professionals through research in state of the art methodologies within its areas of expertise for improving the common mans life by developing technical tools or models or products of their needs in creating digital India. It also serves as a platform for innovative researchers who can share their experiences, exchange their realistic ideas and solutions for the implementing problems faced in the society. It is a premier platform for the students, researchers, emeritus, professional and industry practitioners to share their new and innovative ideas, original research finding and practical development experiences in engineering through high quality peer reviewed papers.
